Each year, the Fairy Godmother Foundation gets together and has the utmost pleasure of selecting one deserving couple to receive the wedding of their dreams that may have otherwise been postponed due to life-altering circumstances.
The Fairy Godmother Foundation was the product of Colleen’s dream of giving back to the community that helped build her magical business. What better way than to plan weddings for couples who are facing hardship?
The first Foundation couple in 2014 was Kurt and Blanca Dudley, Kurt was battling terminal cancer. Planning had been shelved while he underwent treatments. Kurt lost his battle in August 2016.
The second couple, recipients of the 2016 wedding, Robert and Rachel Mendoza had tabled their wedding plans while caring for their son Issac who is fighting an inoperable brain tumor.
The Fairy Godmother Foundation stepped in and gave both couples the wedding of their dreams!
This year, our 2019 Foundation couple were selected after being victims of the Route 91 concert in Las Vegas this last October.
The Route 91 Harvest Festival is a three-day country music concert that was held September 29th to October 1st. On October 1st an active shooter took the lives of 58 attendees and wounded over 567 out of the 22,000 concertgoers by gunfire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel.
This tragic event is now considered the deadliest shooting in modern United States’ history.

Jordanne was hit in the arm and hip as shots rang out at the concert, to protect her, Jordan laid himself over her. Took the old phrase “willing to take a bullet for someone” to an entirely new level.
This life-altering situation made Jordan realize it was time to do something, one month after the horrific incident he proposed to the love of his life.
After interviewing the couple, Fairy Godmother Foundation Founder Colleen Bauer automatically was overjoyed by the love the couple shares- “they are just SO in love!”
The Fairy Godmother Foundation is ecstatic to begin the planning and design for Jordan and Jordanne, 2019 is just around the corner!
