And just like that, it’s Friday again and we’re celebrating another gorgeous wedding! Today we’re bringing you the breathtaking wedding of Chevelle and Erik captured to perfection by the talented – Melissa Brannon Photography. The day was perfect with crisp clear skies and dazzling fall sunshine that seemed to make everything glimmer insight.
The Nirvana Estate was the perfect location to celebrate their nuptials. This idyllic Tuscan venue located on the outskirts of Bakersfield, California is truly a venue like no other. The grand lawn, teakwood walls, and phenomenal vistas ensured their day was going to be magical. Wooden chairs adorned with luscious greenery invited guests to take their seats for the big moment. Surrounded by all their loved ones, the two professed their vows and their happily ever after had officially begun.
Simplistic yet sophisticated, these blushing-pink bridesmaid dresses were everything and more.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to The Courtyard. Soft blush and white rose centerpieces created a lush, romantic feel to the reception.
Chevelle’s father has always had a love for the muscle car Chevelle – hence the name! Their wedding producer, Colleen Bauer, had the idea of having the make and model that she was named after present on her special day. She spent 6 months trying to find the right year and model, and they were all unbelievably shocked by the surprise. It was definitely the icing on the cake!
Overall, this couple ultimately enjoyed the planning process of their wedding so what would they say to others embarking on the same thing?
“My advice has always been… hire a wedding planner! It really alleviates so much stress. The Fairy Godmother team was AMAZING. We had our wedding booked before COVID hit and 6 months before our wedding date there were a ton of restrictions put in place and we were afraid we would have to cancel the wedding. Colleen worked her magic and was able to work everything out so we could keep our date and our vendors with a new location. She made sure everything was perfect and I am so happy we had Colleen by our side to help us along the way.”
