No detail was spared at this rustic romantic wedding. These newlyweds tied the knot at the breathtaking location, The Nirvana Estate. Located on the outskirts of Bakersfield, California. When it came to choosing their venue, Lorena and David chose to hold their special day at this Tuscan-inspired venue because of the endless variety of locations to hold the ceremony and dinner. She especially loved getting ready for her big day in the bridal suite.
The grand lawn, rolling vineyard hills, and the rustic barn helped ensure their day was going to be an unforgettable experience. The first kiss beneath the wooden arch adorned with luscious florals was a crisp start to their fairytale evening.
The reception reflected the couple’s romantic side. Lorena opted for a soft burgundy theme with a bit of a rustic twist. The tables were decorated with stunning arrays of blushing pinks and rich burgundy florals created by the talented House of Flowers. Set in wooden centerpieces atop soft ivory tablecloths, the colors and florals only complemented the venue’s natural beauty.
Needless to say, Lorena and David’s vineyard wedding was beyond what they had ever hoped it would be.

What was most important to you when planning your wedding?
When it came to planning, the most important thing for me was having a full-service wedding planner. Someone that I could depend on to get things done and someone to provide ideas. I didn’t know what I wanted for my wedding, so I needed a team with creativity.
What advice would you give to future brides planning their wedding?
My advice to future brides is to not sweat the small stuff. Nothing can always go as planned and issues may arise. Remember the most important part of the day is marrying your best friend and that’s all that should matter.
