Cassandra’s baby shower was just the most perfect day for a mama to bee! We were absolutely in love with how the day turned out. All of the details made this day come together for a completely BEEutiful experience. We are going to be sharing our top favorite details of Cassandra’s bee-themed baby shower.
Bees symbolize Cassandra’s late grandma who she was very close to. She is one of the main reasons for her creative side. The buttons that her mom and Cassandra were wearing were made by her best friend, Katie and we added vintage lace to them from my grandma’s collection that she still had.
Cassandra has loved peanut butter and pickle sandwiches her whole life even when she was pregnant and we figured it would be fun for the guests to experience it as well.
The classy color coordination
While some people may think that bright yellow and black would be hard colors to create an event out of, this baby shower looked so classy! The color combination looked coordinated and the colors complimented each other. It was not overwhelming but instead perfectly correct.
The hexagon honeycomb shapes
This was one of our favorite parts! We love how the hexagon shape was incorporated into many parts of the decor. In the plates, in the backdrop, in the signs, and in so many more places, you could find a hexagon shape. This was a quiet reminder and carry through the theme.
The little bees
This was a bee-themed baby shower so what would it be without little bees everywhere. Bee printouts on the wall, bee stamps on the favors, even a bee hairpiece topped off this bee-themed day!
