When all your wedding dreams consist of boho chic, vintage elegance, and all the right florals; who says you can’t have it all? It’s hard to know where to begin with Jessica and David’s dreamy Tehachapi wedding. From the fruit-filled table-scapes, to the ornate mix-matched goblets, no detail was going to be spared at this ultra-stylish ranch wedding.
These newlyweds chose to hold their special day at the private Sand Canyon Ranch located in Tehachapi, California. The owner Marianne Lucas was neighbors with the bride as the venue was being built. For this reason, it was extra sentimental holding their forever day at this breathtaking location.
Many years ago, Jessica and David lost their fathers to cancer, and it was very important to them and us that we incorporated them into their special day in as many ways possible. To honor their fathers, they displayed a picture of them skiing and sailing at the reception. There was also a table with two empty chairs, a view of the mountains, and a Heineken and whiskey at their seat. The reception was held outside of the all-white, rustic barn. Jessica and David wanted fruits incorporated into their table-scape to represent their family’s love and roots in agriculture. Pomegranates from David’s family ranch and fruits such as grapes and citrus that Jessica’s dad oversaw the majority of his career added the perfect touch of fresh and fun. Cool blue candles and golden flower compotes only complimented the vibrant floral centerpieces.
Flowers illustrating a love as bright and colorful as the love between Jessica and David was so perfectly done through Blooms by Bridget. Jessica’s Bouquet featured berry toned flowers with pops of bright orange, pink, and crisp blue florals, draped with cascading magenta ribbon. Our hearts may have skipped a beat once we saw the finished florals.
From the meaningful touches to the and romantic ambiance, this couples Tehachapi October wedding put all their guests in a dazzling, romantic mood. It was an intimate event with an everlasting impression on everyone who was in attendance.
