If you have been keeping up with our “Congratulations! You’re Engaged, Now What…?” wedding planning series, you will know that we are now just a week out from walking down the aisle!

We have covered everything that you will need on your wedding day. Wedding dress, tuxedos, paper products, vendors… You are all set!
Now that we are in the last week of engagement, there are just a few little housekeeping items that we will go over to ensure that your day is just as you have always dreamed it to be.

Being in your last week, hopefully, you have received all of your RSVP responses so that you can adjust your seating chart accordingly. This alleviates any awkward missing spots at tables, and definitely helps with wasted place settings as you should also give your caterer your updated guest count. Take into consideration any children if your caterer will be serving a different meal for our younger guests.

Wedding day surprises can be fun, however, wardrobe malfunctions do not fall into this category! With your magical day just a week away, you want to be sure that you try on everything. We mean everything. Jewelry, shoes, hairpiece, the whole nine yards just in case there is any sort of issue, you have some time to get it taken care of.

One week away means that your Fairy Godmother should have any and all items that they will need on your wedding day. This goes for paper products, décor, and any other miscellaneous items that you won’t want to worry about on one of the most important days of your life!

Post wedding day means honeymoon! Be sure to gather all of your required paperwork and necessary travel items so that you are ready to go as soon as you need to be! This goes for confirming reservations, having your house sitter lined up, printing any and all itineraries, and of course, making sure that you are all packed and ready to go!
