We are still about 6 months away from your magical event, and that means it’s time to officially lock down your rental items!
Rental items is more than just tables and chairs, it includes your dishes, flatware, and even centerpieces!
It’s crucial to have these things in your mind, maybe on a running list, so that you can ensure your event is just as you have always dreamed.
Most importantly, you want to be sure that you have enough of everything for your guests, you wouldn’t want anyone to have to stand during your ceremony because you didn’t have enough chairs, or if someone had to use plastic utensils while everyone else used the real deal.
These are just the little things that us Fairies all think about!
According to Bridal Guide, you should order at least three to four dishes, glassware, stemware, and flatware per guest! Now, if you’ve never planned a wedding before, you may not have ever considered those numbers! When it comes to chairs, it is advised to order at least ten extra per location. This is in the event that any are damaged, and of course, if there are any extra guests!
When it comes to tables and chairs, many people forget to order the extras for all the fun stuff!
For example, your guestbook table, your welcome table, your cake table, maybe a sweets table, or even an “in memoriam” table!
The last thing we want anyone to do is to scramble last minute having to ask their Uncle Bob to bring a huge table in right before ceremony.
