“Have courage and be kind.” – Cinderella
In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to take a moment to remember our dearest Pam who lost her battle with cancer last November.
Pam was one of the founding Fairy Godmothers when Colleen set out on this business venture.
With a keene eye for detail and a strong work ethic, Pam was a true Fairy Godmother.
More so, Pam was considered to be a modern day Mary Poppins! No matter the situation, Pam was always one step ahead of anything you would be getting ready to do, and would know what you were thinking before you were thinking it!
Pam was more than just a fellow planner, she was a true friend to all that met her.
There was never a stranger around when she was in the room.
Pam made Fairy Godmother a family affair, her daughter Amy was even in on the fun!
With such an infectious smile and sparkling personality, Pam was the light in any room.
One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States. Breast cancer is the leading cancer diagnosis in women, and the second in cancer related deaths. Men can also be diagnosed with breast cancer, but it is 100 times more likely in women.
Today, there are over 2.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
In honor of our Pammy, the Fairy Godmother family wears our usual flower boutonniere with a new pearl addition. We wear our flowers over our hearts, to carry our Pammy with us at every event, just as she would have wanted!
Pam was an elegant and classy lady, we knew just the way to honor her at each event!
If you have paid close attention, you may have noticed the subtle addition to our flowers. Since Pammy’s passing the pearl has been added to all of our inventory of flowers, we show off the pearl with great pride!
Now, as we fasten our flowers safely to our attire, we think of Pam and aim to spread our fairy magic just as she did… Far and wide for all to see!

Pam touched all of those who knew her, and we are so glad that we were able to share in her precious life.
We miss our friend and not a day goes that we don’t think of our dear Pammy!

Donations can be made to the Fairy Godmother Foundation on Pam’s behalf as this was something that was very near and dear to her heart as she helped grow Fairy Godmother.
