“You’re cordially invited to a 1924 New Years Eve Party, it’s sure to be the bee’s knees. The cream, and not so cream, of society, will be here. With gangsters, hit men, politicians, jazz singers molls and many other interesting guests!”

What is this event for?
The Fairy Godmother Foundation gets together with some of the most elite wedding vendors in Central California to put together an entire wedding!
The best part? This wedding is then donated to a deserving couple who are facing life altering circumstances which have caused them to table their wedding plans.
The very first Fairy Godmother Foundation couple, Kurt and Blanca! Kurt was battling stage 4 stomach cancer at the time of their wedding.
How cool is that?!
To make it even better, the Fairy Godmother Foundation hosts numerous events throughout the year to help raise funds for the wedding, allowing this donation to cover just about every wedding day detail at little to no cost to the couple!
Fairy Godmother Foundation’s 2016 couple, Robert and Rachel. Their son, Isaac, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor during their wedding planning process.
How did it all begin?
The idea of the Fairy Godmother Foundation was first planted when Colleen Bauer, owner and founder of Fairy Godmother A Wedding and Event Planning Company, wanted to find a way to give back to the community that had helped her establish her company! But how…?
And then it began!
Vendors came flooding in asking to participate, the sense of community was remarkable!

The couple given this amazing wedding is nominated and then carefully selected by a board of members who are all active participants of the Bakersfield community!
