This past weekend, the Fairy Squad got the pleasure of doing something so fun and exciting… We got to shower our bride-to-be, Fairy Godmother Cassandra!

For as long as Cassandra can remember, she has always dreamed of a glittery unicorn fantasy bridal shower!
Showering a bride is no simple task- it takes lots of preparation, and not to mention coordination!
Creating a “glittery unicorn sparkle” shower could not have been a simple task, but we believe that Cassandra’s loving mother, Cat, executed this task perfectly!
Picking a location, or venue, is one of the more difficult tasks for any event; Cat hand selected the Beacon Studios venue right here in Bakersfield for this joyous occasion.
The studio’s open space included a two sided white-photo backdrop that Cat and her team decorated with the most perfect balloon backdrop by Ballooniverse!
This backdrop was full of all your fairytale-unicorn colors, and ornamented with gold and glitter accents.
The fabulous Walker-Lewis Rents tables were adorned with packs of flower seeds, centerpieces had dancing fairies embellished with moss and a big balloon, and we cannot forget about the mold-able foam beads!
As one of the bridal shower games, Cassandra got to judge her guests’ creation of a unicorn using only the foam beads- now how cool is that!?
NO event would be complete without sweet unicorn treats by Byrdies Bake Shop!
…And to add to the sweetness, there were salads of every tasting!
Broccoli salad, pasta salad, kale and iceberg salad… Just to name a handful!
There was something about the happiness that filled the room that brought out the magical and giggly side in everyone!
Bees hold a very special and dear place in Cassandra’s heart, so it was only appropriate that there were little hints of bees everywhere to remind her of her grandma!
One of these was her “honey fund” for the honeymoon trip!
Just a little over a month until this Fairy squad gets to watch this Fairy Godmother bride get hitched, and we are so excited!!
