They say rain on a wedding day is good luck. Well Nicole and Nick were very lucky on their big day. Just a few magical sprinkles in the beginning of the day and everything went off without a hitch.
Sometimes having an outdoor wedding in Bakersfield can lead to unexpected weather. But not once did our bride stop smiling. Nicole was so relaxed and calm, she knew everything would turn out because she was marrying the love of her life.
Their entire event took place at JEH Ranch. Here the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception can be in 3 different places! Creating new atmospheres through out the day for the guests is half the fun.
Nick and Nicole’s color palette of blush pinks, ivory, gold, candle light accented the natural greenery of the venue perfectly. The hints of sparkle and elegance combined with the river flowing in the background took the guests on a journey out of Bakersfield for a romantic dinner.
We loved every aspect of being Nick and Nicole’s Fairy Godmothers. From hearing her read Nick’s letter and hold back tears of joy to bribing their sweet daughter with tootsie rolls.
When we saw this comment from Nicole on our Instagram photo we couldn’t help but feel like we’re living a fairy tale and getting to be real Fairy Godmothers.
… and then this photo followed!
Fairy Godmother Reagan is now known as Ariel. Needless to say Stella and her family have a team of forever Fairy Godmothers and we’re are counting down the days until we can design a birthday party for her!!
