April showers bring May flowers, but they also brought us our May Collaboration of Creative Partners Luncheon!

Fairy Godmothers Colleen and Cassandra took a “fairy field trip” one day, and as many of you may know, some of our best ideas come from long car rides!
This “Fairy Field Trip” was actually a very special event! It was an exclusive, invitation-only conference put on by Stacie Francombe. Another invitee was none other than the famous Colin Cowie, Colin is best known for celebrity weddings and events. In one of Colin’s speeches, he said that our vendors are much more than the word leads us to believe, and that they are truly “Creative Partners!”
Just like that the “Collaboration of Creative Partners” luncheons were born.

This month’s luncheon was hosted at the one and only, NV Catering!
This lunch was not only tasty and filling, but also a chance for all of us to get together outside of the wedding and event industry.

Chef Nate and his amazing team worked tirelessly making sure our plates, and stomachs, were never empty.

Without luncheons like this, we would never have found out that two of our guests knew eachother from their previous jobs in radio! Donna from the Italian Heritage Hall and Kevin of Kevin Rush Entertainment spent years together at cool concerts, who would have thought they would reconnect years later in the wedding business?!
We learned that Nannette of Custom Creations started with simple gifts for teachers and friends and brought her loving husband Marcos into the mix to help!

Theresa of Theresa Wooner Photography wants to set the perfect image and achieve goals for her children to look up to, Megan from Elevate Hair Studio used to work with children with special needs, and that Chef Nate started out piece by piece until he could own his own restaurant!
We would never have found these fun facts out without our luncheon, which is just one reason why we keep them going! To learn more about each other and watch other collaborations blossom!
