Meet Denise our Director of Talent Development. Denise has been a big part of the fairy fam since day one. She met Colleen at the Bank of Stockdale many years ago and somehow, they ended up being in charge of the annual Christmas bank party, kids Christmas party, and many customer events and open houses. When Colleen had just opened Fairy Godmother, she gave Denise a call when she needed help on her third wedding and said “I hope your not busy this weekend but I just booked you for a wedding.” Like all true friends Denise said yes. Denise had no idea Colleen was starting the business at the time.
Today, Denise is still a key asset to our team and very much involved in Fairy Godmother. Denise is our Director of Talent Development. She on-boards all of our new team and absolutely loves getting to know the new Fairy’s, hearing what brought them to Fairy Godmother, and helping them develop in their role as a fairy. She is the gatekeeper and mentor to all of the team. Her other role is being the saving grace of this crazy team. Any time crunch your in, emergency, or for just advice, Denise is there to lend a hand.
Denise is an easy-going gal – Any wedding that makes the bride happy and reflects her personal style is her favorite kind of wedding. She has her business degree, is a mother to two fur babies, and she enjoys cooking whenever she has the chance.
