Meet the Fairy Godmother Family – Fairy Godmother Friday

This last Tuesday, January 9th, we celebrated the 8th birthday/anniversary of our little Fairy, the product of a dream that we didn’t know we had!

As we introduce our new and improved website, it only makes sense that we take a “fairy” quick moment to introduce you to our Fairy Godmother family!

Colleen started this magical company with a dream of using her fairy dust to create magical memories for couples as a “Day Of” wedding coordinator, as the demand increased, the Fairy family grew.

Colleen and her extremely supportive hubby have their own little Prince Charming, who is now in college, and a four-legged Ava!

Colleen has always been the “girly-girl” of her family, and takes great pride in being so close to her niece who considers her a true “Fairy Godmother!” Our founding Fairy finds the light in every situation, and her glass is always more than full- overflowing, even!

She recently left her full-time career to do Fairy Godmother full-time, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what she has in store for the future of Fairy Godmother! She takes great pride in her work and is a firm believer that every couple deserves to have their very own Fairy Godmother!

Fairy Godmother Denise was the second addition to our team, after planning many events together at the bank they both worked at, she was Colleen’s first call after beginning Fairy Godmother!

Denise is fur-mama to Scruff and Mag, but it is no surprise that with her Basque heritage, that her strong family values are more than apparent! Denise collects dolls, loves dressing up- while remaining comfy of course, and LOVES to get the job done!

Fairy Godmother Cassandra has planned and designed countless weddings and events, but she is currently a Fairy Godmother bride herself! Cassandra is our crafty Fairy! She loves to not only channel her creative outlet, but also loves to thrift shop!

Cassandra is a strong believer that everything happens for a reason, loves her cream and sugar with a little coffee and someone give this girl ALL the cheese- PLEASE! Add anything glittery or iridescent to that, as well!

Fairy Godmother Marissa finds a sense of calmness in planning weddings- a trait that every wedding planner should possess! Marissa majored in fashion merchandising and interior design.

Marissa thinks that baseball season is the best season (and I think we can all agree!). She secretly-not-so-secretly wishes she was a mermaid, enjoys her early morning workouts and weight training, and has a passion in decorating and home decor!

Fairy Godmother Janet shares her happiness with her hubby, her children, and her two grandchildren! Let us not forget her fur baby!

Janet finds love in pearls, diamonds and Reese’s peanut butter cups!

Her favorite color is blue, and she loves spending her spare time cooking and baking in her kitchen. Aside from her love for bling, she also finds great happiness in Italian food and the beach!

Fairy Godmother Sara has quite the obsession with building and decorating, with an added green thumb in which only applies to succulents. She loves Christmas so much that her Christmas tree stays up the entire month of January, but everything about Fall is magical! Her husband, Logan, is her biggest fan but her two fur pups are close behind.

Sara finds happiness in french toast for breakfast, football season (Go, Pack, Go!) and in using her favorite word “shiplap!”

Fairy Godfather TJ sees himself as a “Jack of all trades” kind of guy!

His favorite color is camouflage, he is a lover of all things veggie – minus cauliflower – and is always willing to try anything once! Lives by “try it, you might like it” which began as a child when he would try new foods. TJ is still trying to define the word “normal.”

TJ is a firm believer that happiness is an inside job, and will always conquer a challenge head-on!
