One of the most important parts of this “happy business” is networking!
Networking with vendors in, and out, of the community helps keep our ideas stay fresh and our relationships just as fresh as the first day we met!
The Fairy Godmother squad had the absolute pleasure of being invited to see the new home location of Misty Dameron Photography!
Misty had prepared the cutest little bites and different drinks, we were so giddy!
Misty shared that she was almost nervous serving for the FG squad- while we felt quite the contrary! It is extremely rare that we are treated, as we are always the ones behind the scenes, doing what we love, so we found it as a wonderful surprise!
The Fairy Godmother squad was fortunate enough to share each of our stories of how we all got started with Fairy Godmother, and we were so fortunate to listen to Misty’s story!
From family life to work life, we got to see how each person started their magical careers, and we all learned a little something we didn’t know!
One of the more interesting aspects that we learned, is that all of our career paths have somehow crossed!
One example of this was that Misty worked for years in Marketing and has landed successfully in photography, Fairy Godmother Sara has a background in Marketing but works in Education, Fairy Godfather TJ has a background in Education but handles the FG Marketing, Fairy Godmother Cassandra and Fairy Godmother Marissa have a background in business and love to design for Fairy Godmother, and of course Fairy Godmother Colleen and Fairy Godmother Denise built careers in the business world and love using their experience to execute magical weddings!!
The FG squad couldn’t leave the new Dameron home without having a little porch photoshoot in our new FG jackets!
Getting to know each other outside of the day of the wedding or event gives us a more personal relationship allowing us to not only understand each other, but to actually KNOW each other! We are SO lucky to call Misty more than a vendor, but also a true friend!
