It’s so hard to believe that March is already almost over, 2018 is flying by!
With each passing day, means we are not only celebrating weddings and events, we are celebrating anniversaries!
This time last year, March 25, 2017, the Fairy Godmother squad was able to sprinkle our fairy dust for Jenny and Adam on a beautiful ranch right outside of town.
As we have touched on before, Bakersfield weather can be a bit unpredictable… This March was no exception!
Stormy rains and cold temperatures clouded the forecast leading up to the wedding… Day of the rain pulled through and kept the rain at a slight mist, and the chill didn’t come until the sun went down… A truly miraculous turn of weather!
Jenny and Adam were to share their special day with so many people, but above all, they were sharing this special day with their families as they all became one!
Our couple had dreams of lush florals, subtle touches of lavender accented throughout, accompanied by elegant elements of crystal and touches of succulents and we were so happy to see this dream vision become a wedding day reality!
This vision wouldn’t have been complete without the ranch-style exposed wood tables, black metal chairs and mixed elevated votives. The table numbers were custom cut wood pieces, directing guests in the most perfect way!
Personal touches were in every detail of this wedding, with the guests’ comfort in mind, making it extra special as there was no stone left unturned!
A living room setup was placed on the grounds right outside the reception, including blankets to help guests stay warm and ward off the evening Spring chill! Including, but not limited to dancing shoes!
Let’s not forget one of the tastiest parts of any wedding… The sweets!
Ghiladolci Bakery brought the baked bliss life for Jenny and Adam, and of course their guests!
Jenny and Adam had one of the most beautiful weddings, and we ecstatic to see them celebrate one year of marriage as Mr. & Mrs. Van De Valk!
