And just like that it’s Friday again and we’re celebrating with another gorgeous wedding that we produced and designed! Their love story started back in 2016 when they first met through mutual friends. Two years later Alvaro popped the question on a coastal walk during a visit to Catalina Island. We always tell our couples that their wedding day can be a reflection of their special love and Gabby and Alvaro’s wedding is a perfect example of that. Nestled in the rolling hills on the outskirts of Bakersfield, California is a Tuscan inspired venue called The Nirvana Estate. These two lovebirds chose to hold their special day at this romantic destination. The grand lawn, rolling vineyard hills, and the rustic barn helped ensure their day was going to be an unforgettable event. The first kiss under the cascading white floral arch was a crisp start to their fairytale evening.

The reception to follow, reflected the couples’ deep romantic side. Contrasting black tablecloths stood out brightly with a dazzling array of scalloped gold plates and burgundy napkins. Golden centerpieces held white, lush roses with a touch of burgundy florals to create a breath-taking display. This wedding was the epitome of a classically romantic, modern wedding done right.
