How I Got Started
After my recent divorce, I felt a deep desire to reconnect with love and joy, which led me to pursue a career as a wedding planner. I searched for wedding planners in Bakersfield and reached out to Colleen. We met, and from that moment on, everything fell into place. I’ve been with Fairy Godmother for over 12 years now, working as a wedding planner, wedding day manager, and currently as a lead assistant. Although I now teach 1st grade, staying involved in the wedding industry allows me to continue doing what I love.

Why I Love What I Do
At heart, I am a true romantic who deeply believes in love. My favorite moment at a wedding is witnessing the groom’s reaction as his bride walks down the aisle; the expression on his face is simply priceless.
