How I Got Started
My love for weddings and romance stories led me to start this side job when my daughter played club travel soccer. Initially, I helped with setups, dreaming of being more involved. After several setups, I was invited to assist at weddings, finally wearing the black dress and pearls I had dreamed of. Now, years later, I still enjoy helping with weddings while supporting my daughter’s college tuition.
My Style
My style reflects who I am and how I was raised. I always go the extra mile to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. If a grandmother is cold, I’ll fetch an extra blanket from my car to keep her warm. It’s just who I am.
Why I Love What I Do
I love making dreams come true. As a little girl, I dreamed of a perfect wedding day, and now I help make that dream a reality for others. Seeing the joy and happiness of couples and their families at the end of the night is the most rewarding part of my job.
When I Am Not Planning Events
I’m a mother to two children, a 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old girl, and a wife of 24 years. I work as a preschool teacher at Little Red Schoolhouse, where I’ve been for 23 years, and also serve as the activities director. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, making jam, and crafting with my Cricut. My daughter often says I’m “extra,” and I’m perfectly okay with that!
