I was born in Merced, CA, and grew up in the beautiful Central Valley. My childhood adventures took place mostly in Fresno. Over the years, I’ve lived in Merced, Stockton, Fresno, Benicia, Lawton OK, Irvine, Long Beach, and now Bakersfield!

How Did I Get Started?
My journey from Chairperson of the Bakersfield Women’s Business Conference to founding Fairy Godmother Events, Inc. is a reflection of my passion for event planning. Leaving a successful banking career to pursue my dream full-time was a bold move, but my entrepreneurial spirit and the support of my family and mentors made it possible.
Fairy Godmother started as a part-time “day-of” wedding coordinating service and has grown into the largest event company in the Central Valley. Leading a team of 15 employees and contractors, we orchestrate over 75 weddings a year, along with numerous business, social, and charity events. Our focus on creative problem-solving, professionalism, and collaboration has built our stellar reputation.
My commitment to Bakersfield extends beyond my business. I’m actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of local organizations and contributing both professionally and philanthropically.
My Style
I love this business with all my heart. Working with clients who are close to their families brings me immense joy, especially when I can add little surprises to their events. I am organized and thrive in chaos, always remaining calm in every storm. I love a great love story and enjoy setting trends rather than following them. Pinterest is my guide, not my rulebook. Bright, happy colors and a mix of subtle and dramatic styles are my favorites. I cherish clients who trust me to build an amazing team and who are as involved as they want to be.

When I Am Not Planning Events
I love to travel! I have explored the United States and recently spent two wonderful weeks in Italy. I plan to visit Europe every other year. I also enjoy watching good movies and love reading.
