How I Got Started
I have known Colleen for most of my life. During my late teenage years, I would assist Fairy Godmother with a few weddings, documents, and inventory. After getting my teaching credential, I took a break from Fairy Godmother to start my education career. However, through the process of planning my own wedding, I fell back in love with the industry and began assisting again!
My Style
I love classic weddings with fun modern touches. The timeless black and white will always be my favorite. I love the fall season so pops of maroon, olive green, and orange really make a classic wedding stand out.
Why I Love What I Do
I love getting to take a client’s vision for their special day and making it a reality. I genuinely enjoy putting all the pieces and details together to help make any event amazing. Seeing a venue before and after decorating makes all the time, effort, and hard work worth it. My favorite thing is watching an event start as an idea and become perfect through the magic of Fairy Godmother.
When I Am Not Planning Events
When I am not planning events, I am a wife, teacher, and spin cycle enthusiast. I love to spend time with my three pitbulls (Benji, Blue, and Peach) and watch football with my husband. Coming from a family that scuba dives, tropical vacations are what I spend my days looking forward to.
